On memories of teachers:
- Yes, the teachers that we remember at Carnarvon were Mr. Charlton the Headmaster, Mr. Paterson was the Deputy Head; there was Mrs. Clay who still lives in Bingham, Mrs. Steedman, Mrs. Price, Mr. Hilary, Mrs. Garland and Mr. Key.
- From Toothill we remember Mr. Kirk, Mr. Dalby, Mr. Burston, Mr. Pearce and Mrs. Wood.
On retirement:
- Well I play bowls - that is the love of my life. I am the Captain of Bingham Bowls Club for the second year running. Terry is the Chairman; he has been the Chairman for eight years, so we are busily involved. It is a fabulous Club; we have a wonderful social life, winter and summer.
