Family history etc

108193 Private Albert Cowdell
1898 Born Bingham
The census shows that two Albert Cowdells were born in 1897/8. It is quite possible both served but only one was counted in the Roll of Honour, although we have found a medal card for only one. There are two possible families for Albert; so far we have not identified the correct line. The situation is not helped by the Absent Voters List showing the same service details for Albert for Fisher Lane (with Frederick) and again for Morris Row (Newgate Street)(with Herbert). With no service records available it is impossible to decide! There may be a clerical error here. On balance the Fisher Lane family seems most likely.
