1922 | Albert died 25th November 1922, aged 34, at 6 Kirkhill Cottages, Bingham. Occupation: Gymnastic Instructor. Inquest held Nottingham 27th November 1922. Verdict: “Suicide by shooting himself during a fit of temporary insanity”. The newspaper report said he had been a chemist before the war, had been gassed on the battlefield and suffered indifferent health since then. He had used his service revolver. In October 1913 he had been diagnosed as suffering from consumption. His father had died of that illness. |
