1923 | George died in Bingham aged 33 6th Sept 1923 and is buried
in Bingham cemetery. Death certificate cites cause of death as Pulmonary Tuberculosis. It is possible he contracted this on service, although the disease was widespread anyway in the 1920s. He had been a police constable, the occupation he had on enlistment. |

A Mrs Blagg was a sometime lady member of the Royal British Legion, Bingham Branch. As far as we have found George did not marry, so this was probably his mother. |
